I Still Love My Ex Though I Think it’s Over For Good

If you’re saying “I still love my ex,” though you think it is over for good. You must be feeling rather low to be so pessimistic.     Come on!  Many relationships that seem to be over for good are recovered because most of the time people find a way to return to each other.

So start a little positive thinking and see how you can get your love back if your relationship merits being saved.   If there was physical or emotional abuse, the relationship is probably best left to die, so don’t waste you time trying to revive it.  In this case try to recover your lost pride and get yourself ready to move on.

Where you simply fell out or there was a misunderstanding or lost trust, you should be able to get them back, even if at present your ex is not in favor of reconciliation. The fact that you are still in love with your ex indicates that the relationship went well for some time. It is also likely that your ex still has still feels strongly about you.

After letting pass a few weeks, you should contact your ex to see how they are and what they are thinking.  Try and get this conversation to lead to a meeting.  Meetings are best held away from others where neither of you will be tempted to misbehave yourselves or get emotional.   Be sure to plan out what you are going to say to your ex beforehand.

You don’t want things to be too formal so you must have a very clear idea in your head of why you want To Get Back With Your Ex. You must come along to the meeting with serious reasons as to why you should return together.   The fact that you are still in love with them will no likely be one of these reasons.

You must discuss your hopes for the future and where you see your ex taking her place within this scenario.   Be careful not to overdo things and leave your ex with the impression that they are the only possible solution for you.  You are neither needy nor desperate and you wish to show your ex that she has a real place in your life.

Take care to let you ex say what she wishes.  She has come to this meeting with her own aspirations so you must hear her out.  You will start to see the common ground that will enable you eventually to get back into a new and loving relationship.
